Puanga Matariki Festival 2025

The Puanga Matariki Festival is a special celebration with a series of cultural events happening within the Whangārei District for people to come and celebrate together.

This year's festival will be held between 27 Mei to 24 Hune 2025 (27 May to 24 June 2025). 

"Every Thursday, Whangārei Central Library will be hosting a range of events, from Mana Wāhine talks, Reo Cafe and the ever-popular Night Library and Cafe. Spend Saturdays at Hihiaua Cultural Centre for storytelling, kite making and more. We have included some of these kaupapa in our Events Calendar.
